The DB25 connector is a male connector, plus my computer doesn’t have a DB25 connector, so I’ve had to use a DB25 to DB9 converter plus a gender changer, since the computer’s ports are male also. I have installed the board in the alarm system, and everything seems to be OK, but I am not getting any output from it that I can tell. I really need to know if the supplied connectors are sufficient for this to work to a PC it was designed to go to a serial printeror do I need to make my own custom cables.
