One of my favorite hikes in springsummer, or fall. Taxes, fees not included for deals content. Some short, some longer. This section of the Red Trail was more natural as there weren’t any boarded walkways. This is hiking for people who don’t hike. Reviewed 4 weeks ago Visiting with friends. Th terrain along the entire path is not pretty, but rather ugly with tons of downed trees and branches the whole way.
The entrance fee is pricey. Huge amount of work planking and railing the trail and the great views of the falls make it worth the cost. Is there a place to swim? Log in to get trip updates and message other travelers. The trails are designed to appeal to varying ages and physical conditioning.
Strollers are not allowed on the trails, and the trails are not handicap accessible. Bushkill Falls is found on private property and a small entrance fee is charged to walk these trails and view the breathtaking scenery.
During peak season water is available for purchase at the Water Hut, which is near Peters Corner, 19 on the trail map. The map and punch card can be valls in the main gift shop.
Three additional hiking trails provide numerous viewing angles of all eight waterfalls. The yellow, blue, and red trails do have steps and require climbing. There is a gorgeous overlook and a nice long easy hike to the other falls and along the creek feeding the waterfalls.
This was a nice stretch of trail as we hiked along the stream and through stands of pines. Previous Next 1 2 3 4 5 6 … This was an interesting experience as you had a chance to view the waters as they picked up speed and headed towards the main falls.

Open Now Hours Today: We spent about 2 hours even though the suggested time was only 45 minutes. While we do allow backpacks on the trail we discourage any kind of picnicking on the trails. The stairs are not easy to navigate, Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash. A short of of 0. Turn left at this intersection there is a sign here and begin a steady climb as you head up out of the Delaware River Valley.

Nearby Attractions See all 5 nearby attractions. From the main falls we headed west, downstream, and viewed some additional falls in the Lower Gorge. We took a little bit of a break here before moving on. After one and three quarter miles you will be at the entrance to Bushkill Falls. You won’t be disappointed.
We got right down to the falls where the spray was coming off.
First time coming and I thought it was beautiful. It was lovely to be able to hike around Bushkill Falls on a fall day. Since this is privately owned, Bushkill Falls does not receive any local, state, or federal money for upkeep.
Comfortable, closed-toed, shoes are recommended for a walk over natural pathways.
The waterfalls were nice but if you are looking for some peaceful trails this is not the place to go! Bushkill Falls provides families, friends, couples, and nature enthusiasts with an excellent opportunity to experience the splendor and beauty of Pennsylvania’s Pocono Mountains.
